The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the world’s largest professional game industry event. More than 28,000 visitors and industry professionals came together in San Francisco for this conference last year.

GDC is an event that shapes the future of the industry, allowing for the exchange of ideas, discussion of industry problems and networking with peers from all around the world. We’re once again happy to return to the Moscone Center as a partner of this year’s GDC. Meet us at GDC 2024

2024 is another pivotal year for the Abstract group, and InstaLOD is at the heart of many projects that come to fruition this year. Just a few months earlier we released InstaMAT and we’re grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response from the community so far. Many of our core processing algorithms at InstaLOD have been carried over to InstaMAT to power its mesh processing pipeline: From our award-winning mesh optimization to our leading texture baker. InstaMAT is truly a game changer for the creation of procedural 3D materials, textures and geometry. From AI to image synthesis and procedural geometry, from creative layering workflows to graph-based pipelines, it’s a next-generation solution.

But that’s not all. InstaLOD is also a key enabler of a new exciting project we’ve been working on over the past months: Abstract Polyverse. Polyverse is a breakthrough for digital asset management and 2D/3D data processing on the web. Tap into the power of InstaLOD Polytrons to process your assets or build remote data processing pipelines for your 2D and 3D assets. Store your assets in the Polyverse Asset Library and easily make them usable on the web, in AR and all connected apps!

And we haven’t been idling on other projects. RSX Engine, our 3D engine technology built for enterprise, has also made big strides in development; we’re just shy of launching into Early Access and can’t wait to show you all the progress that has been made. This year, we’re excited to show you more about:
